Three phase & Single phase kWh meter test bench have been designed to meet the power supply requirement for testing. It will provide selection and regulation of output voltage and current ranges with full variation of power factor from zero to unity lag, as well an on lead. The test bench will facilitate to carry out performance tests of the kWh meters as per IS specification – 722 – 1986 with latest amendment if any. Scope for testing kvarh meters are also provided. CT / PT operated 3 phase kwh / kvarh meters (3 wire/4 wire) can also be tested.
A separate meter suspension rack having capacity to accommodate both single phase and 3 phase meters with appropriate wiring and fitting will be supplied.
