Triple bag blood collection system
Consists of one PRIMARY whole blood collection bag (with
anticoagulant solution) and two SATELLITE bags
- Used for storage of packed red cells, plasma
and platelets in separate bags - Option of satellite bag made from trioctyl
trimellitate (TOTM) sheet which enhances
the platelet storage period upto 5 days - Optional CPD-SAGM (anticoagulant solution)
variant for blood storage upto 42 days - Disposable, sterile and non-pyrogenic
- Sealed aluminium foil packing
