MICROWIRE EEPROM INTERFACE MODULE. MODEL IBL-EBS-6

This interface module makes use of 256 x 16-bit array 4096-bit MICROWIRE CMOS EEPROM. This device features MICROWIRE interface which is a 4-wire serial bus with chip select (CS), clock (CK), data input (DI) and data output (DO) signals. Although it is called as 3-wire interface, it requires 4 signals. The controller?s speed permits to use the same pin for Data IN and OUT, thereby 3-wire communication between the controller and the Micro-wire is possible. No Erase instruction required before Write instruction. Self-timed write cycle. Device status during programming cycles is the essential feature of this type of CMOS EEPROM. An external power supply 5V DC @250mA is required or +5V DC power supply Model SP5 is recommended.
